The waterproof, weather-resistant Blue Sea Thermal Circuit Breaker combines switching and circuit protection into one unit. Large lever with vertical/horizontal orientation provides clear operation and indication of trip status. "Trip Free" design cannot be held ON during fault current condition. Ignition protected for safe installation aboard gasoline powered boats. Thermally responsive bi-metal blade circuit breaker with manual reset falls into the Type III class. Thermoset polyester case. Recessed mounting holes with a lot of clearance for heavy-gauge wire lugs with 5/16" M8 terminals for high-torque connections (75 in-lb) . Mounting holes on surface mount model accept #10 M5 screws.
